2026 Spring WAS Meeting 

Preliminary Information: 

Friday, April 24th through Sunday April 26th

Ramkota, Casper, Wyoming 

Field Trip: Jason Vlcan, Visitor Information Specialist at the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center, will lead the Sunday field trip. We will visit the historic trail areas southwest of Casper. Jason is very knowledgeable about the travelers along the trails in this area, and his trips include excerpts from the diaries of people who wrote about the area being visited. In addition to seeing trail remains and names and dates of travelers, there is also a Native petroglyph in this area we will see. The trip will end at a lunch location (participants will be responsible for bringing their own).
