The Wyoming Association of Professional Archaeologists (WAPA) provides members of the organization with information about recent activities and informs the general public about events of interest concerning Wyoming archaeology.

WAPA Membership

WAPA membership is annual and payment is due to the WAPA Treasurer by April 1st. Membership requirements and additional information can be found under Sections IV and VI in the WAPA Bylaws. WAPA Membership Pledge

All applicants certify that they agree to and will abide by the WAPA Code of Conduct and Standards of Research Performance as defined in Sections XIV and XV of the WAPA Bylaws. 

Membership Levels

WAPA offers six types of membership levels. For descriptions of each, please review Section IV of the WAPA Bylaws. Honorary Memberships and Institutional Memberships are typically gifted by the Association while the other four levels require a membership application.

Grievance Procedures

Grievance procedures will be guided by the basic format used by the Register of Professional Archaeologists (RPA) as outline in the RPA Grievance Manual. A grievance initiation form must be filled out by the complainant and submitted to the WAPA President.
