Join us in Cody, Wyoming, this May for the 2017 Wyoming Archaeological Society Spring Meeting. If you arrive early this year (May 4th), there will be a High Elevation Archaeology (HEA) Symposium at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West (see below). The symposium is free and open to the public. Come hear about all the interesting things revealed by melting ice patches, as well as the extent to which these high places have been used for over 10,000 years.

Things kick off Friday afternoon at the Holiday Inn with WAPA's spring meeting at 1 p.m. WAS activities begin at 5 p.m. with the Early Bird Cocktail Party. Saturday we have a full slate of papers during the day, but stick around for the banquet and banquet speaker. This year we welcome Dr. Don G. Wyckoff, Professor of Anthropology Emeritus, University of Oklahoma. Join us Sunday on a guided interpretive tour of Mummy Cave. If you have items for the silent auction, please contact Sylvia (see meeting info). Limited rooms are available at a discounted rate, so register early. See you in May!

Registrants can tour the Buffalo Bill Center of the West for only $10 from May 3 – 7, 2017.
